My why.
I think for a lot of photographers, having the power to freeze a moment of time and gift clients the opportunity to relive important memories fuels our passion. often photographs are all we have left, once the event is over, the baby grows older, the love one passes on. Suddenly we find ourselves leaning heavily on the small glimpes we have of what use to be. Those small glimpses are more often than not, photographs.
But beyond that, for me - photography serves a bigger purpose. it turns out i feel the happiest, the most myself, the best version of myself - with a camera in my hand. photography for me is joy, peace and comfort all wrapped up with a bow. i feel pretty lucky to have found all of that through my art. i don’t take for granted how special it is that it is also gets to be my job. but most importantly, it means that i’m always showing up as my best self - for you. it means that the moments we share mean just as much to me, as they do to you.
